-A dairy-type breed originally from England
-Coat in all shades of brown from light tan to almost black, and can have white markings
-Underside is lighter in color, while hips, head and shoulder tend to be darker
-Slightly dished face, dark eyes and a light band around the muzzle
-Smallest of the major dairy breeds. Deep in body and full and deep in the barrel
-Well-developed udder and well-placed teats
-Very docile animal though can have a nervous disposition
