-Straight thighs and slightly rounded withers
-Well proportioned and squarely-placed legs
-No black or red hair arising from the extreme 5cms of the tail bone; the switch must be all white
-Cows must be alert, rugged and exhibit feminine qualities
-Large well-developed udder and well-placed teats
-Generally good disposition
